Carl Brown, 77, of Newport, formerly of Ahoskie, died Saturday, March 6, 2010, at his residence.
Survivors include his wife, Lou Crawford Brown of the home; four daughters, Deborah Brown Barnes of Lewiston, Carol Brown Tilley of Swansboro, Lola Brown Rawls of Columbia, SC and Tammy Lou Brown of Tucsan, AZ; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; three sisters, Florence Brown of Maryland, Anna Laura Brown Batchelor of Durham and Inez Brown Pierce of Wilmington; and a brother, Arthur Brown of Ahoskie.
A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 9 at Ahoskie Cemetery with Pastor Ralph Rawls and Pastor Allen Causey officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
