COMO – Como and Murfreesboro firefighters are battling a residential fire as of 7:45 a.m. today.

The fire is located at a home located at the intersection of US 258 and New Hope Church Road, north of Como.

Early reports said the two-story home was fully engulfed upon the firemen’s arrival.

It is not known at this time if the residence was occupied.
