Georgia Twine of Murfreesboro died Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph Twine of Murfreesboro; seven sons, Brent Harmon of Ahoskie; Tarrence L. Harmon, Kevin Twine and Joseph Twine Jr., all of South Carolina, Terrence Lamont Twine of Greensboro, Reginald Twine of Winston-Salem, and Ricky Twine of Germany; a daughter, Taneka R. Twine of Atlanta, Ga.; three brothers, James Lawrence Crocker of Baltimore, Md., Douglas Crocker of Portsmouth, Va. and Wendell Crocker of Bronx, NY; four sisters, Wilhelmina Crocker of Bronx, NY, Thelma Edwards of Woodland and Lena Joyner and Annie Crocker, both of Pendleton; 26 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 10 at First Baptist Church Severn with Rev. Elijah Barnes officiating. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
