In order for our newspaper family to spend time at home for the holidays, the Roanoke-Chowan News-Herald will close at 12:30 p.m. today (Thursday, Dec. 24).

The office will be closed all day on Friday, Dec. 25.

We will re-open at 8 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 28.

All normal Roanoke-Chowan News-Herald publications will be delivered (US Post Office, private carrier) as normal.

The Roanoke-Chowan Shopper will be on the street today (Thursday), as will the Thursday edition of the Roanoke-Chowan News-Herald.

Saturday’s News-Herald will be delivered on its scheduled date.
