CONWAY — A Texas man has been arrested here after stolen weapons and a stolen vehicle were found in his possession.

According to Conway Police Chief Billy Duke, Officer Joe Burgess received information about an individual coming into town that was in possession of weapons.

At 11 a.m. on December 2, Burgess initiated a traffic stop on a 2006 Honda Civic driven by Justin Parrish, 21, of El Paso, TX.

Duke said upon Parrish giving consent, Burgess searched the vehicle and found 11 firearms, including shot guns, rifles and hand guns.
