Lucy M. Williams, 59, of Rich Square died Friday, November 25, 2009 at Roanoke-Chowan Hospital, Ahoskie.
A native of Northampton County, she was a retired custodian worker with McKeller Law Firm in Jackson and a member of Allen Chapel AME Church in Jackson.
Survivors include a daughter, Gloria Jean Smallwood of New York; a son, George Williams of New York; a step-son, Leroy Long of Texas; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral was held Friday, Dec. 4 in Wilder’s Funeral Home Chapel, Rich Square. Evangelist Alice Johnson officiated. Burial took place in Wilder-Cherry Family Cemetery, Aulander.
Wilder’s Funeral Home Inc., Rich Square, handled the arrangements.
