MURFREESBORO – Hertford Gates Relay For Life held a Fundraising Extravaganza in Murfreesboro on November 30.

H-G Relay Teams and vendors set up booths to sell their homemade crafts and products to benefit The American Cancer Society’s largest fundraiser, Relay for Life.

Bonnie Langdale, Hertford Gates Relay For Life Event Co-Chair, was quoted as saying, ‘If Monday night is any indication of what Hertford-Gates Relay is going to be like, WOW! I was overwhelmed at all the energy, passion and excitement that the teams and also the vendors showed last night.”

There were over 30 teams and vendors set up; all in efforts to help raise money for cancer research and other American Cancer Society programs and services.

Langdale went on to say, ‘This is a community taking up the FIGHT and it was portrayed beautifully Monday night. I want to send everyone that helped and participated a big THANK YOU; each one of you makes a difference!’
