Daniel Moore Bond, 71, died Monday, November 23, 2009 at Bertie Memorial Hospital, Windsor.
A native of Windsor, he worked as a logger.
Survivors include three children, Christine S. Pittman of Bridgeport, Conn. and Gwendolyn R. Craig and Joseph Harrell, both of Windsor; two sisters, Suzanna Cherry of Windsor and Louise Vereen of Middletown, Conn.; three brothers, Frank Watson of Windsor, Louise Carter of Virginia Beach, Va. and Robert C. Watson of Middletown, Conn.; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A funeral was held Saturday, Nov. 28 at Cedar Landing Missionary Baptist Church, Windsor. Rev. Neal Craig officiated. Burial took place at Hillcrest Cemetery, Windsor.
Cherry Funeral Home, Windsor, handled the arrangements.
