Carolyn Britton Briggs, 64, died Saturday, November 21, at her home in Conway.
She had been preceded in death by her parents, Stanley Winborne and Sadie Louise Banty Britton; and a brother, Joseph Carlton Britton.
A native of Northampton County, she was a loving, caring mother and grandmother who had worked with the J. P. Stevens Company for over 20 years.
Survivors include one daughter, Wanda Briggs-Trevino and her husband, Ray of Conway; two grandchildren, Nicholas and Nathan Trevino of Conway; two sisters, Sybil Edwards and husband, Bobby, of Conway and Susie Little of Roanoke Rapids; and two brothers, Cecil Britton and wife, Janice, of Conway and Bobby Britton and wife, Lynn, of Franklin, VA.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 24 at Roberts Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery in Pendleton with the Rev. Warren Heitzenrater presiding.
