Derrick Roosevelt Raynor, 32, of Perrytown Road, Colerain died Friday, November 13, 2009 at Pitt Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
A native of Hertford County, he was a cook with C&J Catering Company in Murfreesboro and a member of Truway Holiness COGIC in Windsor.
Survivors include his parents, Andrew and Sheila Morris of Colerain; three children, Ariana D. Raynor, Deona Renee Raynor and Derrick Raynor Jr., all of Middletown, Conn.; a sister, Demetria Morris of Colerain and his grandmothers, Georgia Mae Perry and Irene Morris.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 21 at Ashland Baptist Church, Merry Hill, with the Rev. W. J. Best Jr. officiating. Burial will take place in the Raynor Family Cemetery, Colerain.
