Gladys F. Joyner, 80, died Monday, November 2, 2009 at Levine and Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville. She was a native of Northampton County. Survivors include a son, Randolph Joyner of Converse, TX; four daughters, Gloria Johnson of Charlotte, Hellen Vinson of Washington D.C., Etta Joyner of Atlanta, Ga. and Cecelia Jasper of Lake Jackson, TX; a sister, Decie Daye of Baltimore, Md.; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 7 at Zoar Baptist Church in Pendleton with Rev. William Denson officiating. Burial will follow in the Flythe Cemetery, Conway. Fasion Funeral Home, Seaboard, is handling the arrangements.
