Ruth Jones

Ruth Paige White Jones, 85, of Drum Hill Hunt Club Lane, died Sunday, October 18, 2009 at her residence.
A native of Gates County, she was a homemaker and a member of Reynoldson Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Vicky Baker of Gates and Lois Greene of Sunbury; three sons, Lyle Jones of Fredericksburg, Larry Gatling Jones of Gates and Jimmy Dale Jones of Ahoskie; a brother, C.T. White, Jr. of Suffolk; 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at in Reynoldson Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Todd Higginson and Rev. Billy Presley. The family received friends at Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville, and all other times at the residence.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Albemarle Hospice, P.O. Box 189, Elizabeth City, NC 27909 or to any chapter of the American Cancer Society.
