Thelma Marie Leary, 54, Morris Ford Road, Colerain, died Friday, October 2, 2009 at her residence.
A native of Bertie County, she was a member of Greater Wynn’s Grove Baptist Church in Colerain and worked as a school bus driver and cafeteria worker with Bertie County Schools.
Survivors include two sons, Aundrea Leary of Windsor and George Leary of Middletown, Conn.; her parents, James and Thelma Leary of Colerain; five brothers, James Earl Leary of Williamston, Michael Leary of Harrellsville, Clarence Leary of Windsor, Melvin Leary of Ahoskie and Danny Watford of Philadelphia, PA; three sisters, Joyce Leary Rascoe of Windsor, Joyce Bunch Smalling of North Point, Fla. and Viola Little of New Jersey.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 9 at Greater Wynn’s Grove Baptist Church with Bishop Thomas E. Lee officiating. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
