Margie Baker Cox passed away on Sunday, Aug. 23, 2009. She was a native of Ahoskie, N.C. and had been a resident of the Peninsula since 1962; she also graduated from East Carolina University.
She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Charmaine Cox and Chris Tillage, Elise Cox and Craig Bryant, Frieda Cox and John Aydelott; sister, Poola McFadden; grandson, Ronnie Seely, Jr.; niece, Glynda Vann; a nephew, Keith McFadden; and many other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, Aug. 26 at Crooks Memorial United Methodist Church, Yorktown, Va.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Crooks Memorial United Methodist Church, 204 Cook Road, Yorktown, VA 23690 or a charity of your choice.
