Henry Lee Porter, 94, of Murfreesboro died Monday, August 17, 2009 at Roanoke Chowan Hospital in Ahoskie.
He was a native of Hertford County.
Survivors include two sisters, Gladys Hamm of Stoughton, Mass. and Virginia P. Vann of Rich Square.
A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 22 at Parkers Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Fernando Temple Sr. officiating. Burial will be in the Gatling Cemetery.
Hertford County Undertakers, Winton, is handling the arrangements.
