Shrimp Feast tickets remain

WOODLAND – Get ‘em now before they’re all gone.

A few tickets remain to one of the Roanoke-Chowan area’s most popular events – the Woodland Volunteer Fire Department Shrimp Feast.

This annual event, now celebrating its 24th year, will be held on Saturday, July 18 at the Shrimp Feast grounds located off US 258 (Main Street) in Woodland.

Gates open at 5 p.m. No tickets are sold at the gate.

Tickets are $25 per person and include all the steamed shrimp, prepared on site by the Woodland firemen, you can eat, fresh corn-on-the-cob and your favorite beverages (beer, soft drinks, water). No coolers or other containers are allowed.

As an added treat, “Deuces Wild” will provide live entertainment throughout the event.

Tickets are available in Ahoskie at Greene-Bryant-Joyner Agency, Southern Bank and the Main Street Hair Studio. In Woodland, tickets can be purchased at Timberlakes on Main Street. Those in the Rich Square area can visit the Rich Square Market for Shrimp Feast tickets.
