Ruby Boone Hill of Midlothian, Va., a native of Hertford County, died Wednesday July 8, 2009 at Johnston Willis Medical Center in Midlothian, Va.
Survivors include two daughters, Carol Hill and Beverly Murray, both of Richmond, VA; three brothers, Leroy Boone and Walter Boone, both of Florida, and Steward Boone of New York, NY; three sisters, Emma King of Durham, Lucy Boone of Silver Springs, MD and Ann Lambert of Providence, RI; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, July 12 at Phillipi Baptist Church, Cofield, with the Rev. William Lassiter officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
