Mrs. Rose Woodard Bazemore, 73, of Cofield died Thursday, July 2, 2009.
Mrs. Bazemore was a retired nurses aide who had worked at Roanoke-Chowan Hospital, Guardian Care of Ahoskie and Pine Wood Manor.
She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Linwood Bazemore; children, Chip Dilday and wife, Suzanne, of Greensboro, Jewel Fedock and husband, Frank, of Cofield, Lynn Bazemore Lineberger and husband, Steve, and Stewart Bazemore, all of Norfolk, VA, and Beth Bazemore of Hampton, VA; two sisters, Joyce White of Staunton, VA and Mary Earle Wood of Charlottesville, VA; grandchildren, Brandon, Jessica, Chris, Rachel, Clay and Brayden Dilday, Michael Fedock and wife, Crystal, and Bill and Joe Hanning; and great-grandchildren, Scott, Ryan and Abigail.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, July 5 at Bethlehem Baptist Church. Burial followed at the family cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Lung Association.
