AHOSKIE – A Lewiston man faces two charges, including DWI, after losing control of his car and causing extensive damage to seven new vehicles parked at the Charles J. Jenkins auto dealership.

North Carolina State Highway Patrol Trooper J.K. Jones charged 27-year-old Trenton Earl Williams of Indian Woods Road with driving while impaired and careless and reckless driving.

The accident occurred at 6:45 a.m. on Sunday, June 7. Williams was reportedly operating a 1992 Toyota passenger car east on NC 42.
