Joyce Copeland White Goodwin, 88, of Paradise Road, Edenton, died Saturday, May 2, 2009 in Pitt County Memorial Hospital, Greenville.
A native of Chowan County, she was a homemaker and had worked as a clerk with Belk- Tyler. She was a member of Warwick Baptist Church and its WMU.
Survivors include a son, Larry White of Tyner; a sister, Ida Margaret Hobbs of Tyner; a brother, Malcolm Copeland of Ahoskie; and a granddaughter.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 5 in Warwick Baptist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Aaron Pendley and the Rev. Russell Blanchard.
