Alice Leary, 65, of Colerain died Saturday, December 13, 2008 at Roanoke Chowan Hospital, Ahoskie.
Leary worked as a janitor at the Bertie County Courthouse.
She was a member of Ashland Missionary Baptist Church. She was a Deaconess, member of Colerain Chapter 569 Order of Eastern Star, an usher and on the kitchen committee.
Survivors include her husband, James Leary of the home; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 21 at Ashland Missionary Baptist Church by Rev. Willie J. Best. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
