David Clarence “Hap” Dillon, 54, of Taylor Street, Windsor, died Monday, December 1, 2008 at Bertie Memorial Hospital.
A native of Beaufort County, he was a member of Cashie Baptist Church.
Dillon was a painting contractor.
Survivors include his parents, Nina V. Hart and Louis C. Dillon Jr.; his wife, Leslie Moore Dillon of Windsor; a son, Michael David Dillon of Raleigh; sisters, Linda Dillon-Martin of Belhaven, Sandra D. Myers of Pantego, Teresa D. Manning of Pungo and Carol D. Sawyer of Bath; and one brother, Steve Dillon of Belhaven.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
The family will receive friends at their home at 605 Taylor Street, Windsor.
