WINTON – Filing will begin Monday, July 8 for two seats on the Hertford County Board of Education.

The filing period for the school board will open at 12 noon on Monday and will remain open through 12 noon on Friday, August 1.

The Hertford County Board of Elections is open for filing from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. and from 1:30 n 5 p.m. each week day.

The two seats up for election in November are currently held by J. Wendell Hall and David L. Shields.
