CONWAY – One of the area’s largest employers is seeking additional manpower.

The Lowe’s Home Improvement Regional Distribution Center in Garysburg is seeking to fill positions on their workforce. In order to do so, Lowes, partnering with the Northampton County and Roanoke Valley Chambers of Commerce, will host a Job Fair from 4:30-8:30 p.m. on Friday, March 16 at Conway Middle School.

According to Lowes and Chamber officials, interested parties should apply on-line prior to the Job Fair by visiting their local Employment Security Commission Office, public libraries or by directly applying at www.lowes.com and following the “Careers” tab at the bottom of the home page. Select “Search Positions/Apply” and then select “Distribution Positions.” Type 27831 in the zip code box and proceed with the application process.
