&uot;I’m proud of the way we came out in the first quarter,&uot; said Eagles head coach John Brown.

Josh Jenkins took Pinnix’s pass to the hoop for two to start the second quarter.

Pinnix led Northeast with 16 points, including four three-pointers, and eight assists.

Davis followed with 12 points.

&uot;In the third they had a little run but we pulled together and got some easy layups,&uot; Brown said. &uot; Our big concern is that we need to rebound better and we’re not getting back quick enough on defense.

&uot;It was a good win and good to let everyone get playing time,&uot; he closed.

The Eagles will play in the Christmas tournament at Halifax Academy on December 28.
