Winton teen faces felony charges

WINTON – A Winton teen is currently in jail facing multiple felony charges for crimes pertaining to alleged break-ins.

Hertford County Sheriff Juan Vaughan said that Lieutenant Marty Davis arrested Jonathan Bradley Hoggard 19, of 124 Sandy Drive, Winton on Aug 14.

Hoggard was arrested at his home without incident and was charged with three counts of felony breaking and entering, two counts of felonious larceny and two counts of possession of stolen goods.

Hoggard is allegedly responsible for break-ins at several residences in the Tunis area, as well as a break-in at C & F Industries at 100 Farmers Chemical Road.

Hoggard was taken to the Hertford County Jail and placed under a $33,000 secured bond until his first scheduled court appearance held Aug 22.
