HENRICO – A Rocky Mount man is behind bars after an alleged larceny of a motor vehicle here.

Junios Troy Brown, 53, of Atlantic Avenue in Rocky Mount has been placed in the Northampton County Jail under a $5,000 bond after allegedly taking a Red F-150 pickup from the Henrico area.

Brown was arrested Thursday, according to Northampton County Sheriff Wardie Vincent.

That arrest came weeks after a Brunswick County, Virginia man was charged with one count of sexual battery.

According to information supplied by the sheriff, the victim was cleaning her vehicle and was sexually assaulted by Herbert E. Pegram.

Pegram, whose address in is Valentines, Virginia, was charged with one count of sexual battery and is out after posting the $2,000 secured bond.
