AHOSKIE – An unidentified person driving an Orkin pest control truck swerved off the road and crashed into a tree about two miles south of Ahoskie on US 13 just before noon Tuesday.

North Carolina State Highway Patrol Trooper J.S. Archer, who was investigating the accident on the scene, confirmed that the truck was carrying one male passenger who transported to Roanoke Chowan Hospital.

Initial reports indicate there were no additional vehicles or persons involved in the wreck.
