Ahoskie artist releases first single

LOS ANGELES, CA. – Originally from Ahoskie, singer, songwriter, producer and Recording Artist, Nikkole is releasing the first single, “It’s Too Late” from her hot new album, “A Girl Like Me” on Los Angeles based, SE Entertainment Records.

The song features Grammy Award-Winning Legends, The Emotions of “Best Of My Love” fame.

The single went nationally on Oct. 11 at over 200 CHR and Urban AC Format Stations, College Radio, Record Pools and Internet Radio.

Airplay promotions are being handled by the Bryan Farrish Promotions Firm and WHAM Associates in Los Angeles, California.

The album, “A Girl Like Me,” is explosive.

“This is an album chocked full of singles” says, SE Entertainment Records executive, Wallace Hall.

“This is certainly something we as the record company and the artist Nikkole can be proud of, and fortunately for us, Nikkole has always produced top-quality product.”

“A Girl Like Me” contains 16 tracks featuring artists like, The Emotions, Melle Mel, Wendi & Wyann, Shadii and Sober.

The set also includes a special version of Nikkole’s song, “Over It” recorded in Japanese from her debut album, “Appearances.”

Nikkole states that, “I did it for my fans.

I have been performing that song in Japan and it is a favorite over there.

So with that being said, I decided to re-record the song in Japanese for audiences around the world to hear.”

The “A Girl Like Me” project is certainly something special.

Nikkole is right up there with the likes of Mariah Carey, Beyonce, Alicia Keys and Gwen Stefani.
