JACKSON – On Monday, September 19, the Northampton County Clerk of Court Office will be selling hot dogs with all the trimmings, chips and a drink to raise money for the Katrina victims.

This will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Courthouse lawn.

Each Clerk's office across the State of North Carolina will be challenging each other to raise money. The Administrative Office of the Courts have set up an account with the State Employees Credit Union in which all monies collected will be split between the American Red Cross and the Salvation Army.

We are challenging all attorneys, judges, district attorney offices, probation offices, county employees and the public to open up their hearts to support this cause.

Checks may be made out to the NC Courts Assistance Fund.
