AHOSKIE – Andy Daughtridge went 4-for-4 with three RBIs here Thursday night.

That performance helped lead Golden Skillet to a 14-3 win over Murfreesboro in a Pony League game.

In addition to his offensive prowess, Daughtridge pitched three innings of no-hit baseball while striking out seven.

Travis Ellis was 2-for-3 with two RBIs for Golden Skillet while Dillon Lowe was 3-for-3 with three singles and two runs scored.

Savin & Hill – 7, Andy’s – 3

Savin & Hill plated four runs in the bottom of the third to break open at 2-all tie and defeat Andy’s 7-3 in a Pony League game Thursday night.

Corey Saunders had a single and double for Savin & Hill while Joe Harrell had a single with two RBIs.

Jacob Dunlow picked up the pitching victory while recording 10 strikeouts in five innings.

Grayson Thomas, Neal Howard and Bo Edward all were 1-for-3 for Andy’s in the loss.

Mid-East – 18, Murfreesboro – 0

Mid-East continued their winning ways here Thursday night, improving to 2-0 on the season with an 18-0 win over Murfreesboro in a Junior Little League game.

Brandon Owens had a base hit and an RBI for Mid-East while Tyler Hall had a single.

Kiwanis – 13, WOW – 7

The Kiwanis Club rallied from a 3-1 deficit to claim victory in a Junior Little League game here Thursday night.

Kiwanis scored two in the second and 10 in the third to secure the win.

Coach Buddy Terry said he was pleased with his entire team.

Brandon Terry and Landon Larabee combined to pitch four innings for the win. Larabee was 3-for-3 with a homerun in the win while Terry was 2-for-3.

Thomas Riddick (2-for-3), Dorrien Askew (2-for-2, HR), Bobby Merritt (2-for-3), Hunter Benton (1-for-2) and Jeremy Blowe (2-for-3) rounded out the Kiwanis hitting.

David Wilk and Matthew Ireland combined to pitch for WOW. The entire team ran well and spirits are high, according to their coaches.
