Just an excuse

Excuses. Excuses. All our lives, we need excuses. Ever stop to think about it

Children need an excuse for missing a day of school.

Adults need an excuse when they miss a day of work AND they need an excuse for their children when they miss a day of school.

Have you ever missed a day of work just because… but you still had to call in and say something?

Have you ever kept your child home just to enjoy a day together but you had to tell the teacher something?

Whether these parents were searching for an excuse or trying hard to relay the truth it’s hard to tell but they are funny.

Whatever you sent in that note for your child, I would be willing to bet you can’t beat these parents’ excuses. If you can please let me hear from you!

These are actual excuses and the spelling of parents in a hurry. These excuse notes from parents were collected from schools all over the country:

My son is under a doctor’s care and should not take P.E. today. Please execute him.

Please excuse Lisa for being absent. She was sick and I had her shot.

Dear School: Please exscuse John being absent on Jan. 28, 29,30, 31, 32, and also 33.

Please excuse Jimmy for being. It was his father’s fault.

I kept Billie home because she had to go Christmas shopping because I don’t know what size she wears.

Please excuse Jennifer for missing school yesterday. We forgot to get the Sunday paper off the porch, and when we found it Monday, we thought it was Sunday.
