Margie R. Hollowell

HOBBSVILLE – Margie Riddick Hollowell, 88, a native of Chowan County, died October 2, 2004, in the Lenoir Memorial Hospital, Kinston. She was the widow of Clinton Hollowell.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Hobbsville Baptist Church by the Rev. Tim Dannelly. Burial will be in the Bunch family cemetery near the home. Friends may join the family from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville and all other times at the home of Wade and Faye Hollowell, 351 Hobbsville Road.

Mrs. Hollowell was a homemaker and was a graduate of Hobbsville High School and was a member of Hobbsville Baptist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Shera Nilsson of Richmond, Va.; three sons, Clinton Hollowell Jr. of New Castle, Del., Ronald Hollowell of Kinston and Wade Hollowell of Hobbsville; one sister, Joyce R. Layden of Suffolk; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

WINDSOR – Bertha Harrell, died October 3, 2004, at Bertie Memorial Hospital, Windsor.
