MURFREESBORO-The Chowan College department of athletics will be hosting three summer basketball camps for boys and girls. Head Men’s Coach Jim Tribbett announces the second year of &uot;Total Package Hoops&uot;, emphasizing shooting, dribbling, passing, defense, and teamwork. The women’s basketball team will host two summer camps, both will be June7th-June 10th. The camp for girls ages 6-12 will be held from 9:00am-12:00pm while ages 13 and up (junior varsity and varsity aged players) will be held from 5:00pm-8:00pm on the same days. These camps will concentrate on the fundamentals of the game including passing, dribbling, defense, shooting, and teamwork. For more information, please contact Coach Groninger at 252-398-6433.
