Thats what I am talking about. A true 100% volunteer fire company doing what it takes to ensure the safety of St John. It is so easy for a "Volunteer" fire company to go to its town/city/county and hold out there hand and say we need more with no plan on how to raise it other than just saying council you just need to put it in the budget, period. These "large" fund raisers do 2 things, they bring needed money straight into the fire house and they bring family and friends together for a night of good food, and entertainment.
