Liles files in Harrellsville

WINTON – The extension granted by the Hertford County Board of Elections paid off.
According to Board of Elections Supervisor Sheila Privott, the final candidate filed in the town of Harrellsville to give the county a full slate of candidates for municipal elections on November 3.
Jo M. Liles, who already serves as a representative of the Harrellsville Town Council, filed to fill the docket.
Town council elections in Kelford, Conway and Lasker will be decided by write-in votes since Bertie and Northampton counties declined to extend filing.
