Southern Bank announces promotion

ROXOBEL - Cindy Isles Vaughan has been named Assistant Vice President and City Executive of the Southern Bank branch in Roxobel.

A native of Littleton, Vaughan is a graduate of Warren Academy and attended Louisburg College.

She has been in banking for the past 14 years and she has held positions of loan officer assistant, customer service representative, personal banker, training officer and teller.

Vaughan and her husband, Charlie, reside in Roxobel. They have two children, Courtney Vaughan of Greenville and Chase Vaughan of Roxobel.

She is a member of Sandy Run Baptist Church in Roxobel where she currently serves as Co-Director of Sunday School, Chairman of the Bazaar Committee and a member of the Church Council, Church Hostess and Event Planning Committee, Church Choir and the Crafty Christians of Sandy Run Baptist.
