COMO – Patricia Tyler Davis, 72, died Monday, November 14, 2016 after a lengthy illness.

She had been preceded in death by her parents, Ashley Liverman Tyler and Fannie Mae Smith Tyler.

A native of Northampton County, she was a loving homemaker for her husband and family and was a caring person who would do all she could to help a friend in need. She always had treats for her grandchildren when they came to visit. Also, she had been a member of Buckhorn Baptist Church for a very long time.

Survivors include her husband of almost 54 years, Joseph Davis of their home; two sons, William Ashley Davis and his wife, Valerie, and Michael Ray Davis and his wife, Sandy, and daughter, Melanie Lassiter ,all of Murfreesboro; seven grandchildren, Steven Davis, Drew Davis, Michael Davis, Corey Davis, Rachel Davis, Tyler Davis, and Taylor Davis; three great grandchildren; four brothers, Peter Tyler (Ortrud) of Long Beach, NC, Douglas Tyler (Anita) of Plymouth, Michael Tyler (Joyce) of Aulander, and Joseph Tyler of Ahoskie; and a sister, Daphne Love and husband, Max, of Columbia, SC.

Visitation for Mrs. Davis was held on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at Bridgers Funeral Home, Inc., in Conway, NC.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Town of Conway Cemetery.
