Eddie and Ervina Bunch of Gatesville, NC announce the engagement of their daughter, Hillary Ward Bunch, to Tyler Bundy Russell, son of Jim and Sherrie Russell of Sunbury, NC.The bride is the granddaughter of the late Josephine and the late John Ervin Copeland of Tyner, NC; the late Edward Bunch of Edenton, NC; and Inez Bunch of Edenton, NC.

She is a 2010 graduate of Gates County High School; a 2014 graduate of East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing Sciences; and a 2016 graduate of Old Dominion University with a Masters of Science in Education in Speech Language Pathology. She is employed by Tyrrell County Public Schools as the Speech Language Pathologist.

The groom is the grandson of Frank and Joan Russell of Sunbury, NC; and the late Willis Hinton and the late Kathaleen Hinton of Hobbsville, NC. He is a 2010 graduate of Gates County High School; and a 2014 graduate of NC State University with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management and a Minor in Business Education. He is employed as the General Manager of the Edenton Steamers.
