LAKE WYLIE, SC – Robert (Bobby) Stancell Howell, 89, of Lake Wylie, South Carolina, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2016.

He was born on October 9, 1927 to the late Lloyd C. and Elizabeth Buffaloe Howell of Jackson, North Carolina.

Bobby graduated from Seaboard High School and was also a graduate of Wake Forest (College) University. He served his country in the U.S. Navy.

Along with his wife, Carol, Bobby is survived by a stepson, Major John Charles (Chuck) Ross, U.S. Army, and wife, Chantelle, of Boca Raton, FL; a stepdaughter, Teresa Ann Reeves of Lake Wylie, SC; a sister, Betty Howell Edwards of Seaboard, NC; seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Bobby was predeceased by a son, Robert Stancell (Stan) Howell, Jr.

Services were held on Wednesday, January 27, in Lake Wylie, with burial at Greenwood Cemetery in Belmont, NC.
