Bertie County Sheriff John Holley is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a suspect in reference to a burglary which occurred in the Lewiston Woodville area of Bertie County on Wednesday, Sept. 23.

Deputies report that electronics and games were taken from a residence in the area on that date, and a suspect has been identified.

Wanted in connection with the incident is Johnjon Rascoe, described as a black male with black hair, brown eyes, and medium build.  He is approximately 6 feet tall, and weighs approximately 170 pounds.  Rascoe is 22 years old.

Warrants have been obtained on Rascoe for felony breaking and entering, felony larceny after breaking and entering, and felony possession of stolen goods. A juvenile has also been taken into custody in reference to this incident.
