MOREHEADCITY – Janet Elizabeth West, 81, of Morehead City and formerly of Ahoskie, died Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Carolina House.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 61 years, Ray West of the home; a daughter, Lynn Overman and husband Russell of Morehead City; two grandchildren, Betsy Lane and husband Charles of Ocean, and West Overman and wife Meagan of Washington, NC; two great grandchildren, Emma Lane, and Jackson Lane; and a cousin, Cynthia Rose and husband Larry of Ahoskie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Collin and Mary Watson Liverman.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
