MURFREESBORO – Jamel Lassiter, 6, of Murfreesboro, died Friday, July 4, 2014 at Vidant RoanokeChowan Hospital, Ahoskie. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, July 11, 2014 at the Lassiter Family Cemetery, Pendleton.  Hunter’s Funeral Home, Ahoskie, is handling the arrangements.
