“Dana brings a wealth of sales experience and energy to our advertising team,” said Steve Stewart, vice president of Boone Newspapers Inc. “We look forward, under Dana’s leadership, to carrying our message anew to the business community and helping local business owners reach 8 out of 10 adults in the area through our print and digital products.”

“I have only been in Ahoskie for a very short time, it already feels like home,” said Snow. “I am from Emporia (VA) which is also a small town. Ahoskie reminds me a lot of Emporia. I love small towns….everyone is so friendly and helpful.”

Prior to her career in advertising, Snow spent nearly 15 years with Alltel Communications as an Outside Business Sales Solution Specialist.

Her first taste of the newspaper business came during a two-year stint as Advertising Executive with the Independent Messenger in Emporia, VA.

Snow briefly left the print media business in late December of 2009 where she accepted a job as Member Solution Specialist with the Federal Credit Union in Fort Lee, VA.

She returned to the newspaper field in October of 2010 as an Advertising Executive with the Progress-Index in Petersburg, VA. Snow left there to accept the Director of Advertising position with RCP.

“My husband and I are relocating to the Roanoke-Chowan area in the next couple of weeks. We are excited about becoming an active part of the community.  My husband is from Elizabeth City, so this move will put us much closer to family,” Snow concluded.

Snow is the mother of two adult sons.
