SUNBURY – Dorothy Riddick Johnson of Sunbury was born March 18, 1948 to the late Edward and Lottie Riddick. She departed this life on Sunday morning, September 22, 2013.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Charles Johnson of Sunbury; and four daughters, Tanya Riddick of Sunbury, and Janet Smith, Joyeria Brothers and Felicia Gibbs, all of ElizabethCity. She has 10 grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. She has two sisters, Joyce Riddick of Sunbury, and Jacqueline Grant of Portsmouth, VA; and two brothers, Leroy Riddick of Rocky Mount, and Donny Riddick of Sunbury; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at St. John AME Zion Church in Sunbury.
