AHOSKIE – Dennis Lee, Jr., 53, of 534 US Highway 158 West, Ahoskie, died Tuesday, August 27, 2013 in Vidant Roanoke-Chowan Hospital, Ahoskie.

Mr. Lee was born in Pitt County and was the son of Dawn Best Lee of Ahoskie and the late Dennis Lee, Sr.

Employed for many years as a welder with Franklin Equipment Company in Franklin, VA, he was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church.

Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his wife of nearly 13 years, Peggy Baugham Lee; a son, William Benjamin “Benji” Moseley and wife, Amber, of Ahoskie; a sister, Denise Lee Clark and husband, Wayne, of Carrsville, VA; two grandsons, Greyson and Bryson Moseley; and several aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 31 at 11:00 a.m. in Holly Springs Baptist Church by the Revs. Gilbert Crawford and Wallace Phillips. Burial will follow in the Lee Family Cemetery near the home with Miller Funeral Home, 304 Main Street, Gatesville, handling arrangements.

Friends may join the family at the home of his mother, 528 US Highway 158 West, Ahoskie.
