CONWAY – Rebecca A. Brett, known by all as “Becky”, passed away on July 29, 2013 in the caring hands of a wonderful Hospice nurse and staff at the Brian Center in Windsor, North Carolina.  Her brother and sister were by her side.

Becky was a Carpenter by trade and loved working with and creating things with wood.  She was an avid outdoor adventurer with a special love for the mountains of North Carolina.

Becky was the youngest daughter of E. G. Brett, who preceded her in death in 2006 and Mary Elizabeth Hardy Brett of Conway.  Other family members include sister, Marcia Brett Parker and her husband, Chris A. Parker; brother, Gary H. Brett; nieces, Heather K. Brett, Melanie C. Brett, and Anna E. Parker, and nephew, Sam C. Parker.

The Brett and Parker families invite all to share memories of Becky with them on Saturday, August 10, 2013, starting at 11:00 a.m. at Bridgers Funeral Home, Inc., 605 West Main St., Conway, NC.  A special message will begin at 11:30 a.m. for all who wish to attend.

As per Becky’s wishes, a private interment next to her father on the Brett family property will take place at a later time. Instead of flowers, Becky’s family asks that memorial gifts in her name be shared with Vidant Home Health and Hospice, 521 West Moyer St., Ahoskie, NC 27910.
