AHOSKIE – Charles Lawton White, age 50, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Vidant Roanoke-Chowan Hospital.

Charles was born in IredellCounty on November 30, 1962, the son of James B. White and Ann Dilday White.  He was self-employed as a carpenter.

Left to cherish his memory, besides his parents, are his daughter, Brittany Nicole White of Florida; and his sisters, Sherri W. Green and husband, Robert, of Cumberland, VA, and Mitzi W. Gray and husband, Bobby, of Salt Lake City, UT.

Memorial donations may be made to Bethel Colony of Mercy, Inc., 1675 Bethel Colony Road, Lenoir, NC 28645-8212.
