CORAPEAKE – Ronald Eugene Liebig, 59, of 1417 Middle Swamp Road, Corapeake, died Thursday, July 4, 2013 in his home.

RonE was born April 7, 1954, in Newport Beach, CA, and was the son of the late Walter and Iris Banner Liebig.  The owner/manager of Shadow Gardens, he was a member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Sunbury, and was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, William “Bill” Truman.

Surviving are his life partner, Allan Jantz; his sister, Jacquelyn “Jackie” Heddlesten of Ladera Ranch, CA; brothers, Richard Baron of Oakhurst, CA and Randy Liebig and wife, Mona, of San Clemente, CA; and nieces and nephews, Jeff Baron, Jennifer Olson, Jennifer Truman, Nicole Harding, Melanie B. Truman, Mike and Megan Heddlesten, Theresa and Mo Raissdana, Keith and Angelica Heddlesten, and Mike and Becky Bojorques.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, July 14 at 7:00 p.m. in St. Peter’s Episcopal Church.  A visitation and time of fellowship for family and friends will be held on Saturday, July 20, beginning at 3:00 p.m. at the residence.
