Pearl D. Langley

ANDERSON, SC – Pearl D. Langley, 89, a resident of the Summit Place, Anderson, SC, passed away on April 3, 2013 at the Rainey Hospice House.

Born on November 3, 1923 in Rome, GA, she was the daughter of the late Oscar O. and Maude Farris Drummond and married to the late Charles M. Langley.

She is survived by one son Charles Langley Jr. (Sandee); three daughters, Charlene Gallaway (Phillip), JoAnn Hill (Bob), and Patty Cleveland (Don); five grandchildren, Charlene Michelle Wallace, Brian Langley, Heather Morris, Kristin Hill, and Michael Hill; and 14 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and spouse, she was preceded in death by 10 siblings and one grandson, Timothy G. Divens Jr.

Services will be held on Saturday April 6, 2013 at Grace Episcopal Church at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at a later date in Murfreesboro, NC.

At the family’s request, in lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Rd., Anderson, SC or a charity of ones choice in her memory.

Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory, Anderson, SC will be assisting the family with the arrangements.
